Toyota informed that it has to postpone the opening ceremony of its second plant in Bidadi at Karnataka due to the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan. It event was scheduled on 15th March.
The company officials have informed that Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) operations were not hugely affected by this earthquake. All its employee working over there are safe. However, the company has decided not to inaugurate its plant at this period of time.
